directions regarding Thursday, March 3rd, 2005 and Sunday, March 6th,
2005.

for March 3, 2005 Thursday event:

Dress code
Gentlemen: Jacket and tie.
Ladies: Nice cocktail dress or pants suit.
Load-in: 4:00 PM
Sound check: 4:30 PM
Downbeat: 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
Please note that we will be rehearsing at
the North campus after the gig.

From HOLLYWOOD/FORT LAUDERDALE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Exit the
airport taking I-595 West Exit.
Travel west approximately 15 miles on I-595 to Exit 1A (SW 136th
Avenue and State Road 84.) Proceed through the light at SW 136th
Avenue and continue west on SR 84 approximately 2.5 miles, through the Weston
Road light to Bonaventure Boulevard (second left-hand turn beneath the
overpass). Proceed through the
light 2/10mile to Racquet Club Road.
The Bonaventure Resort main entrance is 3/10 mile down Racquet Club Road
on your left.
From THE MIAMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:
Exit the
airport and look for 836 West – Dolphin Expressway. Take 836 West approximately 4 miles to
826 North – Palmetto Expressway. Take 826 North approximately 10 miles to
I-75 North. Take I-75 North to
exit 15 - Arvida Parkway. Continue
west on Arvida Parkway to the 3rd traffic light (Bonaventure Blvd).
Turn right onto Bonaventure Blvd proceed approximately 2 miles through 3 intersections
(Indian Trace, Saddle Club and Blatt roads) to Racquet Club Road. Turn left onto Racquet Club Road. The
Wyndham Bonaventure Resort & Spa main entrance is 3/10 mile down Racquet
Club Road on your left.
From THE NORTH – SAWGRASS EXPRESSWAY:
Take exit 1 -
Sunrise Blvd (Rt. 838) / Sawgrass Mills. After leaving toll plaza, you will
come to a blinking red light at Sunrise Blvd. Turn left beneath overpass and
proceed 7/10 mile to SW 136th Avenue. Turn right (south) on SW 136th Avenue to State
Road 84 (1.9 miles). Turn right on SR 84 and proceed west approximately 2.5
miles, through the Weston Road intersection to Bonaventure Blvd. Take second
left beneath the I-595 overpass – Bonaventure Blvd. Proceed 2/10 on
Bonaventure Blvd. to Racquet Club Road. Turn right on Racquet Club Road. The Wyndham Bonaventure Resort &
Spa main entrance is 3/10 mile down on your left-hand side.
FROM THE NORTH – FLORIDA TURNPIKE:
Exit I-595
East which splits into East and West exits once you leave the turnpike. Take I-595 West exit and proceed
approximately 5 miles to Exit 1A (136th Avenue / State Road 84).
Proceed west through the light at SW 136th Avenue on SR 84 (which
parallels I-595), approximately 2.5 miles through light at Weston Road. Approximately 1/2 mile after the Weston
Road intersection will be Bonaventure Blvd. – the second left hand turn
beneath the I-595 overpass. Proceed through the light approximately 2/10 mile
to Racquet Club Road. Turn right on Racquet Club Road. The Wyndham Bonaventure
Resort & Spa main entrance is 3/10 mile down Racquet Club Road on your
left.
FROM THE WEST:
Traveling East
on I-75 from Naples take exit 22 - Arvida Parkway. Go through the light at Arvida and proceed 3.1 miles on State
Road 84 (this parallels I-75) to traffic light at Bonaventure Boulevard. Turn
right onto Bonaventure Blvd. And go 2/10 mile to Racquet Club Road. Turn right
onto Racquet Club Road. The Wyndham Bonaventure Resort & Spa main entrance
is approximately 3/10 mile down Racquet Club Road on your left.
FROM THE SOUTH:
Traveling on
I-75, take Exit 15 - Arvida Parkway. Proceed west to the 3rd traffic
light at Bonaventure Boulevard. Turn right onto Bonaventure Blvd. And proceed
approximately 2 miles through 3 intersections (Indian Trace, Saddle Club, Blatt
Roads) to Racquet Club Road. Turn left onto Racquet Club Road. The Wyndham
Bonaventure Resort & Spa main entrance is 3/10 mile down Racquet Club Road

FROM THE SOUTH:
Traveling on
I-95, take exit 24 for I-595, Port Everglades / Fort Lauderdale. This exit
splits into East and West exits once you leave I-95. Take I-595 West and
proceed approximately 15 miles to Exit 1A (SW 136th Avenue and State
Road 84). Proceed through the SW
136th Avenue light on State Road 84(this parallels I-595) for approximately 2.5 miles through the
light at Weston Road.
Approximately ½ mile after Weston Road light will be Bonaventure
Blvd. Take the second left hand
turn beneath the I-595 overpass. Proceed through the light 2/10 mile to Racquet
Club Road. The Wyndham Bonaventure
Resort & Spa main entrance is 3/10 mile down Racquet Club Road on your
left.
Information for Sun Day on
the Mile
Website: Sun Day on the Mile
Location: Corner of LeJeune Road and
Miracle Mile. Please note that this stage is not where we performed last year
but is instead on the corner of LeJeune Road and Miracle Mile. You will need to
find a parking space back there somewhere.
Directions: Take US 1 to LeJeune
road. Go north on LeJeune Road until you reach Miracle Mile. The stage will be
to your right.
Load-in: 10:30 AM
Sound check: 11:30 AM
Show time: 12:00 Noon – 1:00 PM
Dress: Kakhi pants/white shirt. Look
nice and be comfortable. Most of you dress beautifully and always make us
proud.
For those of you who are confused or need it
spelled out, here it is: Please, no t-shirts or jeans. Ladies, please look
nice. We donŐt need to represent MDC with skin or suggestive clothing. I respectfully
request you all dress like your attending a church function or an outdoor
public concert in Coral Gables (J) and not a hip-hop party or strip club (L).
Food & other really stupid questions:
You are responsible for your own food, water, parking and anything else. Please
donŐt ask me any stupid or really stupid questions. Bring yourselves, your
instruments, check your egos at the gate and perform your hearts out. After we
are done, you are on your own. LotŐs of music all afternoon for your listening
pleasure.
